This elegant elopement was just *chefs kiss*. With the perfect combination of Buffalo, NY weather, the cherry blossoms in full bloom, and elegance of the Buffalo History Museum led to these elegant elopement photos.
Michael and Samantha met in their senior year of high school when they went to prom together, but did not start dating until the fall during their freshman year of college. Michael and Samantha started as friends but both developed a crush on each other as they got to know each other more deeply. Their first date was to a drive-in movie theater the summer after high school graduation. How sweet are these high school sweethearts?
Michael and Samantha spent the day at Canalside in Buffalo, NY on Memorial Day 2022 and later went to Westwood Park in Lancaster, NY. Samantha turned around for a “photo” and when she turned back around Michael was down on one knee. Samantha was not expecting it, but did not keep him waiting for her answer.
The love you see in their photos shines through with how comfortable they are with each other as well as how comfortable they were during their session. These two were an absolute delight to photograph and the way Michael looks at Samantha was the cutest thing ever. I was so happy to meet up with them the evening after they went to city hall to capturing these special moments.
They decided to go to city hall to get married instead of a “bigger” sized wedding. They said that the bigger sized wedding didn’t feel like them. So instead, they are going to have a get together with family in July.
