What better way to go visit your bestie in Louisville, Kentucky than to jump over the border to Indiana and help assist her throwing her very first spring wedding content day!

For those of you who may not know what a content day is – it is a day where vendors come together to show off their own creativity based on a mood board presented usually by the host or coordinator.

This day specifically was planned by my friend Christora Osters at Green Apple Photography based out of Louisville. She had a vision in mind and the vendors who came together blew it out of the park.

I was so happy to be there alongside of her to get some awesome content myself but also allow myself to slow down, be creative & intentional with my photographs. And that is what a content day is all about!

I had the best day and was so excited to come home and edit. I knew I had some really awesome photos on my camera so I couldn’t wait to get them into my computer so I could share with all of you!

While yes, I know this isn’t a real spring wedding – the content and creativity still matters.

On weddings, things move so quickly and sometimes you don’t have 30 seconds long enough to get a specific shot you had in mind or utilizing a new tool you brought. These types of shoots are all about experimenting and seeing what works for you. So that way on a REAL wedding day, you are educated and confident in skills you have learned that you can utilize for your couple.
