The Avanti Mansion has three locations where you can hold your ceremony and reception. There’s the Amore Ballroom, with an outdoor terrace for the ceremony and an indoor ballroom for the reception. There’s the Amore Library, perfect for small, intimate weddings. Then there’s the Garden, my personal favorite. You get a gorgeous outdoor location and a beautiful tent to protect you from the elements during the event.

No matter which space you choose, the Avanti ensures it is one of the best places to get married in Buffalo, NY. Because it’s such a large location, you’ll also have your choice of photography locations. 

From a sweeping, romantic staircase to a scenic island in the lake, weddings at Avanti Mansion Buffalo offer the perfect location for your photos!

Admiral Room

For couples who want a classic, elegant wedding, look no further than the Admiral Room at the Marin. It’s got pillars, arches, and a marble floor that all say “wealth”. It’s also an excellent choice for a big wedding since it can seat over 300 people.

With an on-site kitchen and top-tier staff, weddings at Admiral Room Buffalo are effortless. The ample, airy space means your photography will look ethereal and bright. 

And did I mention they have a bank vault door we can use during your wedding? They even have the space for a band to play during the reception or ceremony.

Botanical Gardens

• Free admission to the Botanical Gardens for all guests

Price: Ceremony starts at $800, reception starts at $2,380

The Botanical Gardens is one of the best wedding locations in Buffalo NY for nature-loving couples! Whether you want a small, private ceremony or a large one followed by a cocktail hour and dancing, the Botanical Gardens can accommodate you. You won’t even need to buy flowers for decorating if you plan your wedding for the spring and summer months.

Weddings on the lawn outdoors are beautiful, but they also give you the option of having your ceremony and reception in their glass-domed interior gardens. You also get a whole hour for wedding photography with your booking. 

A Buffalo Botanical Gardens wedding will be a lush, tropical event. Probably not the best for those with pollen allergies, though!

Brickhall in the Hollow

The Brickhall in the Hollow wedding venue gives your photography a comfortable, homey vibe. Warm light streams through high, arched windows on the walls. When combined with candles on the table, it’s a total vibe. 

It only has a few photography locations, but that’s perfect if you’d rather spend more time partying than taking formal pictures!

Hartrich Chateau

• Great for weddings of all sizes
• Ample outdoor parking

I adore this newer wedding venue! It’s about thirty minutes from Buffalo but worth traveling to. Weddings at Hartrich Chateau offer a variety of options for ceremonies and receptions of all kinds, from micro weddings held under Arbor Row to massive outdoor events in the Meadow.

Even better is their photography location choices. They have a fountain, swaths of woods, a massive swing – pretty much any outdoor place you could want. This lets both you and your photographer get creative with your wedding photos.  Keep in mind this is just grounds, you will have to bring everything on -site for your wedding.

Statler Buffalo

The Statler in Buffalo is a beautiful combination of old-world luxury and modern beauty. It’s over a hundred years old, evident in spaces like The Golden Ballroom, one of the available wedding reception locations. If you’re not a massive ballroom person, they also offer the historic Terrace Room, which overlooks Niagara Square.

Twentieth Century Club

The Twentieth Century Club is a historical women’s club from the late 1800s. It continues to function today, providing lectures, gathering spaces, and support to community women. 

Because of its exclusive nature, you do have to be sponsored by a current member to host a Twentieth Century Club wedding. But it’s such a beautiful location that getting sponsored is worth the work.

This location has been on my wedding photographer bucket list for ages. There are gardens and a ballroom, plus the historic architecture, making it a photographer’s dream. The whole place is a classy, beautiful location for your special day.

The Mansion on Delaware

500 Pearl

If you want a sweeping, romantic location, 500 Pearl is a beautiful choice. It’s classically elegant and offers multiple venue options, from the intimate 1914 Room to the Forbes Theater. You’ll also be able to book hotel rooms for get-ready rooms or your wedding night at a reduced price.

The room you pick will change the overall vibe and aesthetic of the wedding. But no matter which one you go with, your photography will be stunning. The 500 Pearl has various photo locations, including a great option with the theater sign outside.
